Emperor scorpion won't eat?
I've had my emperor scorpion for about 5 months now, and I have not seen it eat one time since I've had him. I'm not really sure how he hasn't died yet, every night I see him walking around the cage. Whenever I see him walking around, I offer him food, I'll put a cricket or two in his cage, or I'll put a meal worm RIGHT IN FRONT of him, and he just moves his claw towards it, then walks away. I'm pretty sure I have the cage at the right tempeture, at day I have it around 83-86 and at night its around 78-83. I even bought feeding tongs the other day, and tried that, he just walks away from it. I have potting soil for the bedding, a half of a broken pot for a hiding area, a fake plastic plant that used to be in my iguanas cage, some fake grass, and a water dish. So I really don't know whats wrong.
If someone could tell me how to make him eat, and what I should have in the cage, that would be great, Thanks.
I have emperors. They are really neat and not hard at all to take care of. Sounds like yours might be a little finicky. I also have many tarantulas and they can also make you worry.
I once had one that I thought was not eating. She looked good, her weight was fine. She was sneaking food while I was not looking.
