Tips On How To Install Kitchen Sink Drains

The following is a list of helpful tips on how to install kitchen sink drains:
1. Before you begin the installing the drain you need to turn off the water. If you are installing a new sink drain, remove the old one first. Clean out the bottom of the sink with an old rag and sink cleaner. Clean the drain opening to make sure there is not any dirt, mould, or mildew remaining when you install the new drain.
2. Get your silicone caulk and caulking gun and cut the tip off of the caulk tube with scissors in a 45 degree angle. Take the drain flange and turn it over so that it is positioned bottom side up. Apply the caulk around the underside of the drain flange.
3. Insert the drain flange into the opening of the drain. Slightly turn it in a clockwise direction so that the silicone caulk is properly distributed. Hold the flange in place for a few minutes to make sure it does not slip.
4. Go under the sink to install the sink basket. When inserting the sink basket, it is important to make sure that the basket is centered to avoid leaks. Insert the tailpiece into the bottom of the flange and then turn it in a clockwise direction so that it will properly thread in place. Add the nut and then tighten it. When you re-attach the P-trap, the "V" shaped washer must be pointed downward. Screw the pipe back into place and attach it to the bottom of the sink drain. The connections must be secure and tight. Adjust the extension on the drain to make sure it matches the basin of the sink.
Installing kitchen sink drains is an easy do-it-yourself project that most homeowners can do without professional assistance. However, if you run into problems or a few days after installation you discover a leak or other problem, you may want to call professional plumbers in Canada. how to install a dishwasher drain not connected to the sink?
The dishwasher is not near the sink, so what do you need to hook it up to the drain by going under the floor to where the sink drain is. Not going to the sink through the cupboards.

you say not "through the cabinet". My assumption is that although you can, you don't want to look at the pipes in the cabinets.
If that is true, can you possible remove to cabinet toe kicks, and run drain/ supply line that way? You may have to drill 1 1/2" hole through between the cabinets, but you wouldn't have to worry about the pipes getting in the way.
Otherwise, there are fittings available to tie it in below. Since the DW has a pump, you wouldn't need to worry about pitch. Go to a plumbing supply store with a picture (and size) of where you want to tie in, the size should be written on the pipe. They should be able to help.
