The Modular or the Self-Contained Ice Machine?

Ice dispensers can contain between 150 lbs to 250 lbs of ice. There is another type of dispenser, the hotel dispenser, that can hold up to 180 lbs of ice and can dispense ice right into a bucket, ready for use. For that convenience, the price you have to pay is the space that it takes up.
On the other hand, self-contained ice machines take up less space and are great for a small cafe, kitchen or bar. The ice maker and storage bin comes as a compact unit and can also be known to some as an under-counter ice machine. They fit almost anywhere small, may it be under the counter or a bar. This option is definitely for you if you are lacking in space.
As a conclusion, you need to decide how much ice you need and how much space you have. It is important to have a machine that will hold the amount of ice that you need during your peak hours, and yet will not produce too much ice when you don't need them.
