What should I modify on 2000 Camaro Z28?
I have a 2000 Chevy Camaro Z28. I want to do some work to it under the hood. Nothing outside, just inside.
Currently I have installed:
-4 inch stainless steel pipe tips
-Flowmaster muffler
-Cold air induction
Anyone have any suggestions as to other things to add for better performance??
dont listen to the mustang or bad choice comments the ls1 is the superior engine for 4th gen camaros. join the forum ls1tech.com and youll learn everything there is to know there, i drive an ls1 trans am and thats where i learned everything, other bolt ons you can do now would be long tube headers and an off road(catless) y pipe, and get an ls6 intake manifold and a dyno tune from a shop, that should be good for about 30-40rwhp...the best thing to do is get the engine to breath well then you can go onto internals like heads/cam etc. dont forget about suspension and sticky tires though, it will help alot! Also if your car is automatic you can do a torque converter. Good luck with the car they are a whole lot of fun!
